A major government agency in the US required a management and governance system to mange their cloud usage & costs. This included SaaS Governance and Management. As per govt. regulations an agency cannot spend more than their budget. This means they must have constant visibility into their cost and compliance.

The system should support cost management across the agency organization hierarchy. The agency had multiple departments structured hierarchically with budgets allocated to various projects. They wanted a rolled up view of all their costs across the agency hierarchy. This included real-time dashboard views as well as custom reports for chargeback and showback.

Role-based access control should be supported. Employee access to the management and governance system should be based on role-based permissions, including managers, auditors, and employees. The system should maintain audit logs of all user actions.

A major Carrier in North America wanted to create a cloud marketplace. This marketplace would have phone offers bundled with Cloud (SaaS) services from 3rd parties. A digital ecosystem platform should manage all aspects of the digital marketplace, supporting on-boarding of ecosystem partners as well as  provide a digital storefront,  order management, workflow management, product catalog, content management, billing, and reconciliation. The system should also implement  role-based access control for product managers, channel managers, and support personnel.
