AmberNet has moved to a new location to accomodate its growing need for office space, as well as consolidation of North American operations in Dallas, Texas. Our new office space allows us to serve our customers better from a single location that also houses our testing datacenter. AmberNet became an Oracle partner by joining the Oracle Partner Network (OPN). AmberNet has provided consulting and implementation services for some of Oracle Communications Business Unit (CGBU) products for many years. In addition, many of AmberNet's staff have worked for the companies that Oracle acquired. "We already had the product knowledge and existing relationships with Oracle CGBU management. AmberNet releases IPRM 2.2

AmberNet today released version 2.2 of its IPRM product. This release adds powerful Server data import capabilities whichallow IPRM to quickly integrate with existing production DNS servers. Data from any BIND compliant DNS server can be seamlessly imported into IPRM, thereby allowing IPRM to manage all future domain name changes by automatically identifying and pushing name changes to the appropriate production DNS servers.

AmberNet releases version 2.1 of its IPRM product. This release adds a comprehensive reporting capability that allows users to create custom reports. Reports may be run immediately or scheduled to run in the future. Data from reports may be exported to multiple formats including PDF, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and CSV.

AmberNet extended its flagship Universal Service Enabling Platform (uSEP) with solutions for Cloud Management (uSEP-Cloud Manager) and IP Resource Management (uSEP-IPRM). The principal class of Cloud-based services supported includes IAAS (Infrastructure As A Service), whereby Cloud Service Providers can use uSEP to create and manage cloud computing infrastructure. Customers of Cloud Service Providers, such as Small businesses or Consumers, can directly order and operate cloud-based infrastructure using uSEP-CM's ordering services. Cloud-based services are experiencing significant growth in the industry at present. We saw the synergy between telecom service delivery and cloud service delivery, and decided to capitalize on our Telecom experience to create uSEP-CM. With a management platform dedicated to the end-to-end management of cloud services, including ordering, invoicing, provisioning, activation/configuration, and inventory/CMDB, uSEP-CM is targeted at pure Cloud Service Providers, Telecom Service Providers who have developed cloud service offerings, as well as large IT organizations moving to virtualized IT infrastructure.

uSEP-IPRM provides IP Name, Address, and DNS Server management capabilities for IPv4 & IPV6 networks. With the transition to IPv6 already underway and many major corporations announcing plans to transition to IPv6 in the near future, AmberNet envisions a strong need for effective tools to manage the transition to IPv6. Using the core foundation capabilities of the uSEP platform, AmberNet has built a strong capability for IP Resource Management that will allow Customers to create a Database of Record (DBoR) of their IP address space objects & domain objects. This DBOR will be instrumental in effectively managing the transition to IPv6.

Tony was President and CEO of Architel Systems Corporation (1994 -1999). Tony successfully completed a public listing of Architel on NASDAQ and TSE. Tony was also General Partner at XDL Intervest Capital Corporation from 1995 – 2006. From 2002-2005 he was a Mountain Climber at Seven Summits, where he climbed the original seven summits, culminating with Mount Everest. Derek brings over two decades of Software Engineering and Architecture experience to AmberNet. Derek was the Lead Principal Engineer of the market leading Service Activation system - ASAP, for Architel Systems Corporation, now owned by Oracle Corporation. Past companies include: Canada Life Assurance, Bell Capital Markets, and Trailblazer Learning where Derek held various titles including Chief Architect. Derek’s hands-on experience and proven technical leadership will greatly benefit AmberNet. He has a B.A.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

AmberNet is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrei Tour as Director & Sr. Architect of Product Management, effective April 1st, 2009. Andrei brings over fifteen years of Software Engineering and Architecture experience to AmberNet. He is a telecommunications OSS/BSS veteran of NGOSS Architectures, Processes, and Standards (eTOM/SID), BEA Certified SOA Architect. He played a key role in the Telstra OSS/BSS transformation program as an Enterprise OSS Transformation Architect. Past companies include Amdocs, VPI Systems, and SIEMENS. Andrei has BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectornics, and is currently pursuing an MBA from Melbourne Business School.

AmberNet Technologies Inc. signed a Master Services Agreement with a major Carrier in the APAC region to provide OSS/BSS Consulting Services. This Carrier is undertaking an initiative which includes significant changes, replacement and consolidation of their overall BSS/OSS architecture to introduce critically needed OPEX efficiencies and deliver much improved customer services. This program includes objectives of eliminating or consolidating existing software systems by more than 70% resulting in operational cost savings of several hundred million dollars. AmberNet Technologies was selected as one of the strategic partners for this program. As described by an Executive Sponsor for this program, “AmberNet Technologies was selected to bring highly specialized OSS domain expertise and consulting services key to the success of our project. We clearly recognized AmberNet’s unique understanding and skills within the OSS domain.
